Our Pastor


Pastor Terrence L. Green, Sr. is the founder and visionary of Empowerment Temple Ministries in Waverly, Virginia. He is a 1990 graduate of Sussex Central High School. Pastor Green has been happily married to his wife, Tanisha, for over 22 years.

They are the proud parents of Tayjah, Tanea, Terrence Jr., and Sha'Bria Baines. Pastor Green and his wife are the Co-owners of The Jireh House, LLC group homes located in Waverly and Petersburg, Va. and Owners of Superb Solutions for You, Inc. located in Waverly, Va. Pastor Green along with his wife Tanisha has been dedicated to building God's kingdom one family at a time for more than a decade. On September 24, 2006 The Empowerment Temple Ministries was established under his leadership and God given vision.

Pastor Green is a member of the P.H.I.P.A (Potter's House International Pastors Alliance) under the spiritual covering of Bishop T.D. Jakes. Pastor Green's life is dedicated to living by example and empowering men and women to live up to their full potential in Christ. For this reason, he founded the R.E.A.P (Repositioning, Empowering, All to Prosper) program, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Pastor Green has a plethora of experience in teaching, preaching and providing spiritual advice, which enables him to reach others with humor, transparency and strength.

He has a passion for reaching the unwanted, unloved and broken-hearted and bringing spiritual wholeness to them through the word of God. Pastor Green is known as a Preacher's Preacher, because God has graced him with an anointing to deliver the word in a powerful fashion that captivates his audience and makes you believe that all things really are possible.
